Cost Co-Pilot
Search every item on your warehouse receipts, and see when something you bought in the last 30 days gets cheaper.

Questions, problems or ideas: email kristianponsford@gmail.com. I usually reply within two working days.
How do I connect my receipts?
Tap Sign in. You sign in on Costco's own website inside the app; the app then reads your warehouse receipts from your account and keeps a copy on your iPhone.
Can I try it without signing in?
Yes. Tap Try with sample receipts on the first screen. Settings > Leave sample receipts removes them, and signing in replaces them with your own.
How does it know what I'm owed?
It compares what you paid in the last 30 days with the current savings booklet, with later purchases of the same item, and with today's price on the item's product page. Costco usually refunds the difference when a price drops within 30 days of purchase; show the receipt at the membership counter. The final decision is always Costco's.
Why can't it find a price for some items?
Fresh and in-store-only items often have no price online. The app skips those for a week before checking again.
How do I sign out or delete my data?
Settings > Sign out removes your receipts and the Costco sign-in from the app. Deleting the app removes everything.
Privacy policy
Last updated October 3, 2026
Cost Co-Pilot does not collect any data. There is no account, no server, no analytics and no advertising.
- Your receipts stay on your iPhone. They are read from your Costco account and stored only in the app on your device. They are never sent to me or anyone else.
- Your password is never seen by the app. You type it on Costco's own website. Costco's sign-in cookies are kept in the app's private web storage, the same way a browser keeps them.
- The app talks only to costco.com. It loads your receipts, the public savings booklet and product pages directly from Costco, just as Costco's website would. Costco's own privacy policy covers those requests.
- Reminders are local. Price-drop notifications are scheduled on your iPhone; nothing is sent to a push server.
Signing out or deleting the app removes all of this. If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date. Questions: kristianponsford@gmail.com.
